Can’t trust the airlines — 4 iPad Stolen from Luggage

Packed 6 iPads in my suitcase for family and friends in Hong Kong. When I arrived, picked up my oddly light luggage. The zipper was not closed all the way and 4 of my iPads were gone. Cathay Pacific is not taking responsibility, but i check in a 7kg luggage and it's only 3kg left....
