We used this cube for a short trip where we used just a large duffel bag. It kept our t-shirts nice and somewhat wrinkle free. Much better than having roll around with everything else. I’m planning on purchasing a few more to pack better for a long vacation.

5 Stars Cubes Are the Way to Pack
I have been using a couple of cubes to pack since a packing class 10 years or so ago…but until I did a 2 week trip living out of a suitcase through Asia, I never truly appreciated the system.

When you have to find a t-shirt, and have them in your say Green Shirt cube…you reach in and pull out the green cube..voila. You can actually wind up, with the fact things are rolled up and tighter, taking more than you need or realize until you tip the scale with your bag.

When getting my bag ready for the next day I just pulled out my cubes, laid them on the bed, got out what I needed and put them back in my bag in nice neat stacks. My clothes looked good too, including my laundry folded shirts.

For organizational freaks, or travelers who are tired of pulling everything out of a bag in heaps, losing one sock, or discovering a wadded up shirt you planned on wearing, these are the way to go.

I have several of these now, in different styles and sizes. The Half Cube is perfect for keeping the small things like socks, sleep shorts/top, and underwear organized and tidy in a suitcase or backpack. The Cube acts as a compression cube to hold an incredible amount of items.

5 Stars worht every penny
I travel 150+ nights a year and would not leave home without the folder and packing cubes. The 20″ folder hols 6 XXL shirts really well and makes packing very simple. If you start out with pressed shirts and fold them correctly you will arrive with pressed shirts. The other advantage to the folder/cube system is it prevents the TSA people from pawing through your cloths at the airport.

2 Stars inefficient and clumsy
travelling is such a pleasure and having a packing system helps to make it so. a good bag and a system give you time to enjoy the trip.

i have found that using cubes, and i have all sizes, beats the folder hands down. you may pack differently than i do, as there are a host of packing philosophers out there to whom one may subscribe, but i just find this Folder an awkward contraption. it forces one shape out of your clothing destined to go in it which is bad enough, but it also has a pretty high mass-to-volume ratio, meaning it weighs more than it should for the amount of clothing it can hold.

when forced to decide on what to keep in my overstuffed bag on a recent trip, i opted to let go of one of these Folders and i left it in the hotel room, accepting chaos in the bag instead.

its clumsiness and inefficiency, compared to other various packing cubes from Eagle Creek Eagle Creek Pack-It Half Cube (and others like it… LL Bean), have me rating it unfavorably. add a star because it is better than nothing, and it does a great job if all you have in your case is button-down shirts.

Followed the instructions, but the shirts looked awful after unpacking. My wife is very happy about this

Rugged, plenty of room, and handles, so you can carry it alone or put it in your suitcase. A very good product for those who travel often.

5 Stars The key to taking a smaller suitcase!
I was desperate to find a way to bring a very small suitcase for a 3-week trip to Europe. After seeing a video about these Pack-It folders I couldn’t resist trying them, despite being a bit skeptical. I’m not an ultra-light packer, but I managed to fit all of my clothes for a 4-country business/pleasure trip into just two of these folders: about 10 tops in one and 5 pairs of pants in the other. Packed that tightly, things still got a bit wrinkled, but I was able to easily fit all the clothes I wanted to bring into a narrow 25-inch suitcase/travelpack. A few other Eagle Creek gizmos helped with the rest: two half-cubes for socks/underwear/accesories, and a medium size compression sac flattened out a sweater and two jackets.

I’ve traveled internationally for many years and have always considered myself to be an efficient packer. However, folders and other Pack-It accessories take it to another level! They’re definitely worth the investment.
